Jesus>Everything: Colossians 1:9-14

As we read through Colossians 1:9-14, we find out that being close to something doesn’t mean you’re connected to it. Proximity is not intimacy. God doesn’t just want us near Him, He wants us to truly know Him—to abide in Him. Through Jesus, we’re rescued from a life of emptiness and brought into something real and life-giving. When we stay connected to Him we start to look different and we start to want to tell others about the Hope we have through Him.
